What is the System availability for submitting claims?
Magellan Medicaid Administration is available for claims submission daily (24/7/365). Exception: Typically, Sunday 12:00 A.M. to 2:00 A.M. CT. downtime will occur only if a need exists for maintenance. If not, the system will remain available for claims processing.
How can I request a prior authorization for a member?
Starting 10/28/2023, a prior authorization may be electronically submitted through CoverMyMeds® by visiting www.covermymeds.com, calling Magellan at 800-424-1664, or faxing the request to 800-424-7402.
